Welcome to First Grade!
If you thought Kindergarten was fun, just wait until you start first grade! Here we learn even more strategies for becoming a fantastic reader, we add more tools to our writer's toolbox and get to practice our writing skills every day! We learn more about numbers, including addition and subtraction, we learn to measure things and tell time to the half hour. And SO MUCH MORE! First grade is the BEST grade. And Mrs. Barnes can not wait to share in this wonderful year of learning with you!
